‘We are excited to share that our Executive Committee have selected the RSPCA (Halifax, Huddersfield & Bradford District Branch) to be our chosen charity for 2025! The RSPCA is a local, self-funded charity centred around animal welfare and rehoming. The Animal Centre, which is based in Halifax, takes in hundreds of mistreated or unwanted animals every year and strives to give them a better life.

 

The RSPCA is reliant on the generosity of the local community in ensuring these lovely animals are cared for and have a chance at finding their forever homes. In 2024, the RSPCA rehomed 317 animals including dogs, cats, rabbits and other small animals. This would not be possible without the work of the amazing staff and volunteers which turns on regular donations from the public.’
