Doggy Day Out! K&C JLD x RSPCA's First Fundraising Event of 2025

Last month, the JLD hosted our first charity event of the year in partnership with our chosen charity: RSPCA Halifax, Huddersfield & Bradford. We gathered at Beaumont Park in Huddersfield with our furry friends and took part in a group dog walk🐾

We did a loop of the park, meeting back at the bandstand for games and a pup-friendly picnic. 🦴

The lovely Lauren at RSPCA led the walk and the games, bringing everything together fantastically 😀

Rosettes (and biscuits) were awarded to the winners of our games:

Raven the Great Dane was crowned ‘Best Treat Catcher’. 🥇

Cooper the German Shepherd was the winner of ‘Musical Sits’ 🥇

In total, we raised £330 for the RSPCA Halifax, Huddersfield & Bradford branch, which is an amazing achievement. Thanks to all for coming and donating.

We were joined by two very talented student photographers from the University of Huddersfield, who were able to snap some amazing action shots of the dogs.

Humans and dogs alike had a brilliant time. We are very grateful to Lauren and Grace from the RSPCA for volunteering their time and expertise, and hosting a fantastic tombola and raffle.

The dogs even went home with some goody bags filled with sausages, biscuits and bones!
