Paws & Paddles 🐾🏓 Kirklees & Calderdale JLD x RSPCA Halifax, Huddersfield & Bradford | Final Fundraiser of 2025

On the 10 November our Charity Officer, Catherine Cain, organised a charity table tennis tournament ‘Paws and Paddles’ to raise money for our charity of the year, RSPCA Halifax, Huddersfield & Bradford branch 🐾 💙

It was a brilliant turn out with several junior lawyers and their friends and family members trying their hand at ping pong… some for the first time! 🏓

We raised a fantastic £307.50 altogether (plus gift aid) – pretty great for a cold, rainy Monday evening 👏

All the funds will go directly to the RSPCA, who are currently in the process of their ‘Really Big Refurb’ – knocking down their old shelter which was no longer fit for purpose and building a new and improved shelter for all their gorgeous animals 🐶 🐱

Massive congratulations to our winner Hamish and runner-up Sam, pictured below, both of whom extremely kindly donated their winning prizes (£30 and £15 respectively) to the RSPCA. 🥇

Big thank you to Grace from the RSPCA who set up a fabulous stall which included a raffle, a tombola and lots of lovely gifts and trinkets 🎁

Everyone played brilliantly and it was a lovely evening to be part of! Thank you to our President Rebecca for bringing the refreshments and thanks to Sally for taking these fab photos of our event! 📸
